Loma Linda VA Volunteer lunchen

VA Volunteer lunch

June 30th 2015 marked the apreciation for those who
volunteer at the Jerry L Pettis VA Memorial Hospital.
The lunchen that lasted two hours, was held at the Double
Tree Hotel in Onterio California.
Volunteers were given awards for hours worked. They were
awarded pins and certificats for 100 to 10,000 hours
worked.
One volunteer James Miles recieved a  trophy for working
over 32,000 hours.
There were also door prizes given out as well as speaches
from Larry Moore, the new directer of volunteer services
at Loma Linda VA.
Loma Linda VA Hospital has aproximently 500 volunteers in
verius capacities. Volunteers do anything from pushing
patients in wheelchairs, to giving directions and working
in the veterans cemitary.
